Bhel Puri


Puffed Rice – 2 cup

Sev- one cup

Onions-half cup, chopped

Tomato- half cup, chopped

Roasted peanuts- 2 tablespoon

Coriander leaves-one spring

Lemon juice- one tablespoon

Tamarind chutney- 3 spoons

Red chili powder-half teaspoon

Chat masala -2 tablespoon

Salt- to taste

For Tamarind chutney


Tamarind water-6 spoon

Dates- 4 nos

water- one cup

Roasted cumin powder- one tablespoon

Red chili powder- one tablespoon

Black pepper powder- half tablespoon

Dried ginger powder-half tablespoon

Dry Mango powder-half tablespoon

Sugar- one tablespoon

Method for Tamarind chutney

Wash the dates and make it a paste. Soak Tamarind with one cup of water for half an hour and squeeze with hands and take the extract. In a bowl add the dates paste and all the other ingredients and mix well. Cook for a while. When the mixture starts to thicken switch off the flame and let it be cool. Keep this in a glass bottle in the fridge

Method for Bhelpuri

In a large bowl add all the ingredients listed above for bhel puri except coriander leaves and mix well. Taste the salt. Mix again and garnish with coriander leaves.  Boiled potato and green chutney are also mixed with this make more taste.
