Kadala(Chana) Curry

Black Chana /kadala (cooked) – ½ cup ( soak in water for 2 hours before cooking)
Onion (sliced) – ¼ Cup
Green chilies – 2 Nos.
Crushed garlic – 1 spoon
Coconut bits – little
Chili powder – 2 spoon
Turmeric Powder- ¼ spoon
Coriander Powder – ¼ spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 spoon
Salt – for taste
Oil – As per need
Curry leaves – 1 Spring
Mustard seeds – 1 spoon
Dried Red chilies – 2 Nos.
Heat some oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add onions, green chilies, coconut bits and crushed garlic and sauté. When onion becomes brown in color, add chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder and saute well. Mix all the ingredients well. Add enough water and black chana to this .kadalaWhen the gravy becomes thick, add curry leaves and switch off the flame.
